We are like coins

11 Aug

When life begins, it’s as though we are brand new, like a rose in the garden plucked from the ground. Once that rose is out of the ground, in time it blooms and then dies. Same can be applied to coins, we are shiny and new in the beginning but as time moves on we become rusty ,old and a bit beaten up through the huddles and challenges that life brings on
The journey of a coin is motivating, as it passes on from one master to the other, a coin comes straight from the press, where is has been moulded into refined shape, where it goes to its first master the bank, then to an ordinary person, who may be either poor, middle class or wealthy and travels along the process. There are those coins that are well-kept by their master and those which are abandoned and thrown away because they are of no value, have too many dents, and look ugly. These coins are thrown away and could travel down into a sewer drain, into the sea where they remain forever forgotten by their masters.
In life we are just like coins, some of us are shiny, and some of us are old, rusty and beaten up. Our first master being our guardians treat us with care, so we don’t have any dents but in time as they let us off to the world we became beaten up and gain dents. Each of these dents make us stronger or weaker depending on how we take it. We must not let these dents pull us down. We are like coins are should not be forgotten, we should remain with more value and that all depends on you.
My last words today and this week would be treasure yourself, know your value and worth and others will see it and will never mis-use your worth, skill and value. You will be indispensable to this world and universe.

there is definately some truth in that,as th eworld focuses on the dents on the coin, the coin should focus on its value, to maintain it or increase it but never to loose it..
stay relevant is my EPIPHANY from this..
